Since Junior High School I have had a passion for making things out of wood. In 9th grade my parents gave me my first wood lathe and I began to create all kinds of interesting things. College and my career took precedence over woodworking until 2014 when I bought a new wood lathe and began making things again.
Since then, I have been to many different craft shows and done some "for hire” products. In 2014, my daughter Danielle began her turning product line of pens, pencils, seam rippers and much more. Her company Skapa Turning's, was featured in two Handmade Arcade events in Pittsburgh, PA.
Finally, now that retirement is upon me, I am excited to create more hand turned wood products. I currently have a booth at Artists At Work cooperative in Elkins, WV and Artistry on Main in Buckhannon, WV.
