Since I was a very young girl I have enjoyed packaging things in beautiful ways, and as an adult that extends to having just the right container or bag for every purpose. 

 

I love to make things with pockets and compartments, things that are both useful and lovely.  I also enjoy sourcing gorgeous fabrics in my travels to other states and working them up into pieces with structure and line and volume, using patterns that appeal to my architecture-trained eye.  Sewing is an extremely appealing endeavor that allows me the use of a never ending range of beautiful colors and intricately designed fabrics.
